[Full-on Psy] New on from me, feedback welcome

http://s36.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=...PK3FD41TR7XJH4C

Genre: Trance

Stats:
192 kbs
9:11 mins
148 BPM
Made with Reason 3.0 and Audacity

My most full on yet, I kinda feel that there is something missing. And the mix, I'd really like to know how I did on that.

a bit to much highs but the intro was very psy otherwise .
seems good now maybe a bit to much reverb but i think it fits the track!

the bass seems to dry for the track? and those radio sound are just wicked maybe doesnt fit to well but who cares they are cool!

bass seems ok now at 3:00.

alot of psychadelic stuff going on, this is cool.
i think its a bit to much psychadelic stuff going on, i got confused.
the track is really im'ish around 5:00 i think! really cool.

the vocal bits are cool. some stuff that should stay in the background is way to forward, maybe you would want to lower their volume to get them in the background?

this track is really cool, flows well to me.the melody at 7:00. something is really nice, a bit out of the ordinary. well not much more to say nicely produced tracl

somebody eles told me that the bassline was not phat enough I think ill fix that. As for sound to psy, that awsome, I was goin' for the wackyest thing ever. Most of my tracks are not this wacky.

Thanks for the review.

listened to your track.

beginning is very cool. The snares at 1:07 suck. I'd just redo them. The sounds at times are very inspired. The kick is strong, but straightforward and dull.

This is very psy. Although the chicken is a little much

I think a little more structure might give it propulsion.

Overall, mediocre song, weak rhythm, but great sound/feel/intent.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I made some chages on the bassline, give it more juice. As for make the song less crazy and giving it more form. Probably not gonna do that. This is that one tittie twister track that we all want to do at some point. Ill make normal music later.

Hey, commenting as I listen...

Awesome intro. Dark stuff. I like the sharp overtones and gated vocals.
The bassline is kinda basic, but sounds alright.
1:18 - awesome rubber gum Psy sound. Nice use of it.
The song gets very stomping now. Should keep the dancefloor moving
2:20 - ah, a bassline change, that one is very funky.
Percs that fade in are great, nice groove.
Track gets a little confusing in the part @3:00. Dont know what its lacking, but maybe it could pick up more drive of the first parts.
5:00 - nice melody as always
Percussion gets kinda interesting now.
Now I am at the last melody theme. I dont like that pulsey synth sound, but it works great with the bass.

Well, that was a nice track. I liked the percussion. And the FX and melodies were top notch as always. A solid Frost-Raven track all in all. Not my favorite track by you though. I was waiting for a bigger surprise. But just keep it up, dont get me wrong! You're still doing high quality, man

Just downloaded... listening now...

The intro's kinda cool... those really high notes about 8 or 9 seconds in bug my ears a little, but it's alright. Kick comes in now, sounds good. Bass is ok, nothing special.

at 1:20 now. Yea... those sounds are pretty cool. I'm smiling.

at 1:45... I'd say that this thing needs EQing... but I'm thinking by now that perhaps your goal is to drive me insane. But yeah... it's good.

at 2:25. New bassline. I like it better. That tambourine at 2:36 seems really loud on its own. I'm liking the sounds that come in next.

3:00. Getting a little bored. The track needs to go somewhere a little sooner, I think.

around 4 minutes. really cool sounds come in. Something that almost resembles a melody.

4:45, sound really dark. More sounds. Cool

5:15. Melody? A little too random for my liking, but I'm more of a straight up melodic trance kinda guy, so I guess it's the nature of the genre.

6:05 now. I really like the little melodic breakdown. Nice.

6:40. It's not over yet? I think the track has lost some momentum.

7:00... ok... wtf are you doing now? This is pretty weird. Not sure if I like it or not. There are some highs that keep coming in and out that really bug my ears.

7:30 very cool melody comes back in. I'm smiling again. I think it's too high and needs a bit more mid-low freqs in there.

8:00 where did that cool melody go? I guess the track is over by now.

8:40 FX at the end are kinda cool.

Concluding remarks: This is one F***ed up track. There are lots of good elements in here, but I'm torn between liking it and being annoyed by it. You definitely have the psy effects down well, and the percussion is great.

Don't worry about it sounding too psy. We've all heard wackier.

Good track, cant really fault it too much. Mix sounds pretty good, all sounds pretty well balanced. Bassline sounds pretty good!

Snares at 2.35 kinda dont really work. I know the on beat effect your trying to get, but it needs some tweaking still I think.

Melody at 5.01 sounds too high pitched, you could take that down an octave perhaps, or layer it with a deeper synth... just sound a bit too brittle at the moment.

Really dig it after the 6.30 mark... it really started spinning me out. The wierd bouncy LFO'ed sounds at 6.55 are my cup of tea... good job with that.

Is kinda funky, melodic bassline driven full-on and does it well. Not particularly original or standout, but I still like it. If anything, more fx and random fills and elements might break it up a bit more. Overall though, its a good track, I could definately see myself tripping out to this at a party.

Hey...

The intro is awesome but I felt little bit disappointed when the kick came for the first time, it just felt weak and quiet compared to the other elements. With the bass the kick works well. Really wacky effects, true psy!!!

The mix is okay, maybe the kick could have little bit more bottom end imo. All of the effects are the best part of the track. I think the track would benefit of a clearer structure... now it´s just going somewhere without a real objective. You could for example introduce the melody at 5:00 earlier to keep the listener´s attention. Couple of note changes in the bass line doesn´t hurt a psy track neither.

It´s a quality track....!!

Cheers, Lakeus

Liking the dark, evil bass in the intro.

1:20 is excellent. Later on though, it gets a bit hectic. Maybe pan the two elements at 1:50 apart to make them more well defined.

Delay on the bass at 2:22 is a nice touch.

That tambourine that hits with the kick seems a bit loud and harsh.

Goa lead at 5:00 is really cool.

2nd melody theme is so cool. I think it could go on longer and build up to a more fevered feel. Really get some energy going.

This track really only seems to have energy around the middle section. afterwards, it seems to be missing its mark.
