thanks pinok, glad it brought you back some.. I kinda wanted revolution to die out before i hit up your track, like you said to bring up energy, i figured for some who hadnt heard it, it would be a good listen, and i just lkike the way it died off and then your mash up fires up again, like a momntary break in evrything.
About the ending, as far as i can tell, i uploaded the whole thing, the 192 kbs mix should be 94.8 which is the link here, and off the site which is 128mb mp3pro is 63.2, so those are the full file sizes... The end track is pretty good, i just had to end the set with mark norman, so you'll have to let me know if you get a chance to check that out! Anyways, thanks for takin a listen, and for you comment and compliment!
cheers mate!
Save this one on the back burner for somethin different!

If anyone could please give me a little feed back, criticism or comments on this mix, it would help me alot! I really like mixing, and know what i like... but thats me. I would love to hear your opinion, and what anyone has to say about this mix...like what YOU like! track selection? Good. Mixing? Good. Vibe? Good. Is this set okay for new listeners? Or is it only for those who have listened to trance for awhile... Did you like the mix timing, speed and sound effects? Anything else????
Im trying to get back to my music...work has taken over my life, but the music, it helps me breath comfortably and thin healthy! I would like to share that experience with others, and would appreciate incite to my mixing ability before i release my new mix...
So, since i worked quite a bit on this mix, i know my original post could use work, like more info on how i felt about the tracks and mixing... and the work i put in, so my new mix thread will be more conversational ... please let me know what you think!!! I would be greatful!
G

Hello Tranceseed, first off I’d like to tell you that your mix is a modest effort at being different. It’s modest because there’s a lot of things you’re trying to say at the same time but get lost in translation in the process. Your mixing is not bad technically, but your mixing style is what drags this mix down a couple notches. To clarify, I don’t know what you were going for in this mix because there are some parts progressive trance, one part house, and a few parts trance only. It’s not wrong in any way to mix things up, but you just didn’t pull it off. For example let’s start with track 1. That song would be nice in an all-out trance mix such as you suggested in your title. Track 2 is straight up house and I would imagine that going well in the beginning of a Desyn Masiello set for its downtempness, but not this set. Tracks three and four go back to the same vibe as 1 did. Unfortunately another drop in energy occurs with the introduction of your two prog tracks by Allure and Max Graham. After that the same energy flaws keep happening over and over again. You’re unpredictable for all the wrong reasons and that needs to change.
My solution would be to get a better understanding of your tracks before mixing them in and work on your build and flow. Also a little planning wouldn’t hurt anybody. Your tracklist on a track by track basis is pretty good (with the exception of track 1, I just don’t like that one) but as a mix they don’t go well together. Hopefully next time a I hear a great mix from, but as I always say ‘you can’t rush progress’.
