I thought some of you might be interested in this, particularly those who were into the old skool Keltec & Mangan.

Darkbeat 3rd Birthday – Oldskool / Retrospective Night
Easter Weekend is upon us once more. Its time for Darkbeat’s 3rd Birthday!
As always we have your grooving pleasure at heart and will be hosting this event on the Thursday (Easter Eve) to give you maximum grooving time!
We will be having an oldskool / restrospective night, showcasing all the classics from the last 3 years!
We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has been apart of Darkbeat over the years – we couldn’t do it without you!!
Guests:
Keltec VS Mangan (Old Skool Breaks Set)
Starting out in 1995, Dan's DJing career began in 2001, when Australian independent radio station Triple J ‘unearthed' rare talents from the bedroom and into the spotlight, whilst Keltec's musical abilities have spanned since puberty with brass instruments, before switching behind the silver platter in 1993 and, more recently into the realm of production. Together the duo have rocked many a breaks dancefloor, such as Fractured at Seven, 33 1/3, and various other club nights around Melbourne. We are happy to get them back at Darkbeat with an exclusive old skool breaks set!
Hans DC
Hans DC’s style of music has been embraced mainly by the devotees of the Beats Working community, but as of late his services has been requested by some of Melbourne's big guns. Hans doesn't have an ambition to be the biggest or the best, rather looks at it as making something out of what he knows and loves. "The positive push and support that the Beats Working DJ's give me are equal to none, and the open mindedness of our punters are priceless!!! There would be no me without them. This is the first time we have had Hans at Darkbeat – so be prepared for shenanigans!
Scott Feigen
DJ Feigan, known to many as a true gentleman of the scene. He's been tearing up many a dance floor since his introduction to dance music, in '96 @ Belfast. Coming from a punk and hip-hop background, he made the switch to techno and house before discovering the broken beat back in 2001 through Krafty Kuts' remix of Afrika Bambatta's "Funky Heroes". Since then it's been all things breakbeat for Feigan, with residencies at Relax, Fractured, Volume @ Room, Quality Control, Broken Home and Beats Working. We welcome him back to Darkbeat!
