This is most puzzling... Now, I won't be in the city this upcoming week, so it's no concern of mine, but I don't see how or why they would move Tenaglia and Picotto to Crobar, a move that, as the title of this post implies, cancel the appearance of Oakenfold @ Crobar. Whereas I'm sure that Tenaglia/Picotto can draw a much bigger crowd than Oakenfold (In New York, at least), wouldn't it make sense to either push Oakenfold back to a different date or to move him to Spirit? I'm sure Spirit, Crobar, and Made Event can come up with a deal that ends up making everybody happy (of course, there's always the question of Oakenfold, who might refuse to play at Spirit). Regardless, the bottom line is that I simply don't understand this course of action.

Well, I'm not sure, though Spirit's website is still showing only the announcement that they'll be open on the 8th and 9th. But somehow I doubt that this shutdown interfered with the Made Event party, as I know for a fact that Avalon was open on Friday night... so I'm guessing that everything is ok with Spirit.
