[Chilled Uplifting Trance] Sunset 2005 (192 kbps)
Hi all,
1 1/2 year ago, i made a very chilled tune named "Sunset"... because of the bad sound quality and the nice melody i´m working on this rework which is - in contrast to the original tune - uplifting...
Updated Link:
Finished the tune...
just click on the pic to download the 96-kbps-version!
1:58 good change. it just barely makes it. 4:00 good breakdown. good overall sound. 5:00 getting worried about the progression so close to the end, then realize its an 8+ min song. good progression. 7:00 could hear a 303 ripping in the background every other beat maybe. nice finish. I hope to someday be where you're at for sound quality and song progression.

Nice sounds. I think the bass could use some more higher freqs, it sounds a bit muffled with only the lows. Or maybe just another thin layer on top just to add a bit of a touch to it. I'm loving the intro with the piano right now. Sounds very dark and emotional (reminds me of a sunset too ). Nice guitars - perfectly implemented.
4:45 - nice subtle switch from the dark intro to a more uplifting melody. (it's all in the chord progressions)
I like the melody - but I think it should be more dominant. Right now it just sounds like a background - as if it was missing the lead instrument. (gets much better at 6:00 - but that's a bit late in the track) This would work perfectly if it was a vocal track, but right now it feels like something's missing.
This is an awesome track overall. I'd love to have a high bitrate version of it when it's finished.

This is an awesome track overall.
I can't quite put my finger on it...
A little more melody in the rythmn...a "fuller" sound? Perhaps?
I do like it though, I'll be looking for the final

me like it 2
the tytle suits it. nd the brake it fu*cking gr8t! when it kicks in though it could do with a bit more build up. then u'd be flying m8t. job well done.
Yeah. I have to agree that overall it is a good solid production. I thought that the choice of not matching the piano keys exactly to the beat with a sequencer (live feel to it) was a very good choice. although in my personal taste for progressive i like to hear ambient sounds in the background that enhances the melody upfront to help one not to solely rely on the songs melody, you were still able to manage with some variations to it (the melody). i was just wondering howlong would you keep that pad in the back for. anyhow, thanks for the awesome track
