but is it deep house?

Alright I'm not too picky about genre definitions and all that. But i did want to know if you guys considered this deep house or is it another genre. thank you for all your serious responses. The song is

Not really, no. I'd say that is more mainstream dance/pop than anything else. Kinda reminds me of Kylie Minogue and Everything But The Girl. That clip also seems like the type of video MTV would show late at night during AMP (if anyone remembers seeing that).

If you want deep house, labels like Moon Harbour, Ovum, Plastic City, Naked Music, OM, Alola, and Airtight are very good places to start with.

It actually is quite mainstream throughout the spanish speaking world. But if it was underground, would you still consider it more dance/pop than deep house?

Yes, I would, and I'm not quite sure what you are getting at. If the song was underground, it would still be mainstream pop/dance to me, because that is how the overall feel of the song is. Being already in the mainstream (as you pointed out), has nothing to do with it for me.
