Fucking lucky to be honest. He would have missed that 99 times out of a hundred, plus West Ham only didn't go in front in extra time because Reina plucked something out of his arse to keep it out - although he did gift them the second goal, I guess. I don't follow anyone in the EPL, but I was still gutted to see West Ham lose. Had to feel for Rio there at the end.

steven gerrard now confirms that he is the best big game player in the world, in the last five finals he has been in he has scored in all of them, what an insane record. absolute gun player.

i think this is one time where i can safely say you are well mistaken
this is just what quality players do my friend! i agree we were lucky to win the game, but signing & nurturing players like gerrard wasnt luck at all!

went to Cheers Sports bar as usual...
sang my heart out and now I have a croaky voice.
I had a very bad feeling about the match
20 minutes in...own goal...though West Ham deserved it...
27 minutes...fuckin blunder
we were just falling to pieces.
then Cisse scores...I can feel an equaliser coming...and of course I then remember THAT night in Istanbul...
2nd half...Gerrard...fuckin yes...but ten minutes later...a cross somehow ends up in the back of the net. Absolutely shellshocked. I think a third goal is just too much to ask as its all frustration from here...West Ham are in control of things...until then Steven Gerrard...
its all hugs, tears, singing.
one fuckin emotional rollercoaster ride, almost on par with what happened in Istanbul.
