For starters you could try ringing round your friends, ask them to ask their friends, and so on.

That way (depending on how many mates you've got) you might muster up a dozen or two, maybe only one or two, but bare in mind, half probably won't come, that always happens.

How did you land in this situation? Did you suddenly have an idea to have a party?


What you could do is go for a night out, clubbing, just talk to bloody everybody you can, and say "hey I've got an afterparty if you're interested". Considering most people go clubbing with a few mates, you should get a crowd in no time. Of course you'll have to look a bit weird inviting people to your party who you've only known 30 seconds, but it's the best advice I can give.

Essentially, go to a club with an early closing time. A club that closes in 6am won't get you many people for an obvious reason: more of them will be tired than a club that shuts at 2am. Also, since many people find 2am too early, you might get a few people in an earlier closing club more interested.

Alternatively, go to a bar where you know that the DJ/Manager are friendly, and ask if they'll make an announcement for your party. I worked in a cheesy bar in Newcastle just glass collecting, but people came up to the DJ making announcements like that all the time. They'd get him to announce that it was their engagement party or whatever crap like that, and sometimes it was about parties.

o me and my buds thought it up last night.. it'll hopefully be this friday it'll be at a lounge type building of a sub division near my house. but i am not for sure if we can get the place this friday i am hoping to find out tomorrow. which is where the 24 hour invite people comes in.

Ok, guys.
I organize 4 dance parties, all with announcements in 3 radio stations, all with more than 4 djs.
With the radio stations you can put in the head of all people the rumour: "Hey , there's a dance party... will you go?" but you know that only 10% of the people will go.
If you have a lot of djs working you can get more people who knows them.
Free admitance or nothing...
In every party we have 200 people average.
