I really do hope APC is dead Maynard needs to devote more time to TOOL. AS for the pumpkins I really hope D'arcy comes back to the band but I doubt it and more than likely it will be Melissa Auf de Maur. This is great news. The music industry needs real artists to make a comeback and show these fake monotonous bands how real music is made.

Throughout human history, as our species has faced the frightening, terrorizing fact that we do not know who we are, or where we are going in this ocean of chaos, it has been the authorities, the political, the religious, the educational authorities who attempted to comfort us by giving us order, rules, regulations, informing, forming in our minds their view of reality. To think for yourself you must question authority and learn how to put yourself in a state of vulnerable, open-mindedness; chaotic, confused, vulnerability to inform yourself. - Timothy Leary

yes that last album wasn't that great but
MER DE NOMS FTW!!!!!!!!! |
Yeah it wasnt that great and Mer De Noms is a classic album in my opinion. Apparently creative differences have been rumored to be the reasons of APC's demise. HALLEUJAH! Hopefully this means we will get another TOOL album sooner than later.

The Smashing Pumpkins > Tool ....sorry Joel but its true. |
Well thats your opinion and you're allowed to have it. You're wrong but you can have it. lol Anyway the Pumpkins are definately a relevant band in my opinion and comparing them to TOOL is like comparing apples to oranges. I love them both.
