yorkton on the other hand is a nice sized rural town. I like it there...besides on my way there, I get to drive thru fort qu'appelle and lake qu'appelle.
To those who dont know...sask goes along goes along then BANG you drop into a river valley, where there is a gorgeous fishing town. then up the other side you go, and it dissappears. I think the next change in elevation is the Man/Sask border, which I have yet to cross in daylight..but I THINK its the N.Sask(maybe S.Sask) river that is the border along the crossing between Yorkton and Dauphin(another nicely sized rural town)
strange how I know the highways isnt it? oh and the highway into Grand Prairie is really nice in the fall..u come around a bend on a cliff type thing and the valley is there with the town spaning the river...ok enuf small town talk!
