Hello.
I'm about to have a speech in school and gonna talk about Dj'ing, the problem is that i don't have so much vital information and history about it, which I probably must have...
Now i ask you guys where I can find some nice info etc, about this wonderful culture? Haven't find anything on the net yet...

tell em that djing is a martial art performed only with supervision of buddist monks and a holy grail. that should keep em with their mouths open. then you tell em a story about a guy who tried to mix 2 vinyls and went fking insane...hadd some dj's brain disorder muhahaa
muhhaa
Also one of the best pages to show someone in a "what not to do" in web design...

Yes exactly. I'd also like to add the ability to take people on a journey. That's something you cannot learn technically. You either have it or you don't.

Well think of some topics.
Eequipment used and developed would be a great one.
Start of with the first mixers and turntables right up to serato, midi conrollers, xone3d etc etc.
Well known djs and such.
Tiesto (wether you like him or not, he was the first dj to have is own concert and play at the olympics, wether they are good or not its up to you it doesnt realy matter right now, we TAs get sidetracked and hijack threads to easily... im doing it right now )
Grandmaster flash! Oaki etc etc
Maybe talk about djing coping stuff from rock bands and performers and such.
