Saw your reply too late. Anyways was an awesome night, Andy Moor's set was just sublime - beautiful dreamy trance all night long. Not too crowded but was a nice cozy environment, awesome that the dj booth was so close to the crowd and there was such excellent contact and interaction between the dj's and the public, haven't seen that at a party in a while.
Simon Patterson started off a little boring I thought but after about 20-30 mins a similar type of style to Moor's set.
Saturday I went to have a look at Leicester Square early in the night with some friends, had been more than a year...and what a bad idea that was...not like I've ever ever had a good night at Leicester Square..but I thought I'd give it another chance...quite stupid really...apart from the crapness of the noise (not music) the mentality and sphere in these places. Almost had a fight with some drunkards who tried to steal a friend's jackets, luckily for them it didn't get more serious...but seriously...the agression, the desperateness of all those guys and girls, the "gangsta" attitude, the pretentiousness of some of those people...at one point I thought I'd at least try to enjoy it by getting drunk..but after one drink I thought !@#$% that..
So at about 1-2am decided to go down to the Fridge to find out the Twisted party was relocated in the Renaissance Rooms in Vauxhall, lovely location, bit of a nice underground feel to it over there, wasn't quite full but the sphere was 100x greater than at the West End, as was the music. Stayed there til the closure at 6am and after receiving close to probably a 100 flyers made our way to Crash for the Twist afterparty...nice location also stayed there til quite late and even heard a hardtrance remix with some female vocals of Push - Strange World and Solar Stone - Seven Cities.
Some vids of Andy Moor on Friday
