I thought people agreed to let 2002 be the year of the comeback of melodic and uplifting.
Let's leave the progressive to 2003 instead.

I agree!!! Let this be the year of upliftin' trance!! We got loads of progressive tracks out there! Don't take me wrong! I really like progressive, but 2001 was a lame year for uplifting lovers!

2001 was the year of progressive, 2002 will be more uplifting, melodic.

I hope not! As much as I love progressive, it has it's place... and I think if it were as much in the lime light, it would be spoiled and be far less cool.

i know what u r saying there.. progressive is much better suited to shiftyness and general promiscuity.. back to the underground i say!

yeah i kinda liked Progressive house in the underground, which it still is. But i really dont think Progressive trance and progressive House are the same. But if u say Holden in Prog trance, then yeah i look forward to a year of prog trance. But sont get me all that wrongm Melodic trance is a blast too (one in a while). Just remember Tu face.

"The Underground baby, its just like roaches ,always living never dying"

frankly i don't give a shit what the media labels the year or people's predictions. I'll listen to what i like and not care about it. Melodic/Epic/Uplifting trance will be back. I want more melodic trance damnit.......hehhee. Who knows but all i know is ppl will listen to what they like.

I think thats more of a possibility. The recent tiesto solo set has a few tech elements throughout.. Personally i think thats kind of cool to have more tech elements, but i would still prefer the uplifting style.

Oooh yes it's definetly going to get a lot harder! My two choices for the men to watch this year?

Marco V
Picotto

I reckon both are going to have amazing year (though so will Sasha if he actually gets his album out).
