The Gap Band -- Some of my favorite synth bass from that time.

Hey frost, I've got this Thompson Twins(?) vinyl

actually i'm not sure.

I've got this vinyl, it's like a magazine, it's called 'Recorder Three'

when I got it; it was all warped and I actually had to put heat with a blow dryer on it and then put pressure on it to flaten it out, that's how bad I wanted to listen to it.

it's from the UK, 1981, it's got two thompson twins songs on it, Politics & Vendredi Saint

damn, this vinyl is so wierd... i'll send you some pictures if you're a vinyl person, just pm me.

yes the 80s were great. as you can see i am partial to the kraftwerk vids.

thanks for the kraftwerk 'das Modell' link. i had not seen that one!

but you missed the best ministry link for 'revenge' when they pretended to sing in british accents, b/c that was what was popular at the time.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qh56z0LCdWs

thanks for the links!

I think Aha - Take on Me is the best song from the 80's.

Umm... I'm going off-topic here, but I think this is a pretty damn cool video. Not 80's though...
