I played last week at a club with another dj who uses SSL and we found a way to hook up both on the same 2 decks, but that required using the 4 line ins from the mixer, leaving no place for cd decks and there was a terrible problem with ground

my question here is: is there a way to make playlists for SSL without owning it ? i thought id make a playlist with all my music on my 200 gig external and just bring it and use SSL all night long since were playing back to back

so does anyone know:
A) wat kinda playlist files SSL uses
B) where can i get a program to make SSL files
c) IS THIS A GOOD IDEA!!!

first download the software (for free here) then you can create CRATES and drag and drop files in them. Once you have your crates setup you could even use them on another computer by taking the CRATES folder with you (\My Documents\My Music\ScratchLIVE\Crates)

btw if you connect an ipod it will appear in buttom left just like a crate
