I saw this kind of thing happening

This is crazy, I protest several things here in Austin, now mind ya, I am not an extremist on my political views, hell I consider my self moderate if anything, but shit this is scary..

http://www.pistolwimp.com/media/46062/

the funny thing is I take this very seriously, but the comparison between the Nazi's and the US police state we live in is ignorant..

but if any of ya partake in rally, please follow the advice the woman tells you when she describes dressing for a rally,

peace, love and gods

It's funny how the narrator (who has the worst, affected voice I've ever heard), has such a problem with the police having video cameras in the public domain to document the entire incident, while at the same time that very footage is the cornerstone of the entire video.

Also funny how about 2/3 of the way through it, she finally reveals what she believes the real reason is behind the cops getting more aggressive: Class warfare. You see it was the rich people staying in the hotel that instructed the cops to attack the poor people who were protesting. I thought that was a bit over the line.

Lastly, who brings kids to a protest rally? These things notoriously end up getting very confrontational. It's usually a better idea to leave the kids at home.

In the worst case, the cops probably got a little aggressive trying to control the crowd, though their job is to maintain order. I don't agree with her line about it being facism and torture, however. Whether the narrator admits it or not, this is a one sided presentation and there is another side to it. Whether or not the other side is more right or wrong isn't at issue. It's just noteworthy that another side of the argument exists.

Well I too found the Voice really bad, got on my nerves, but the reason I find interesting in the past 3 years I have gone to rallies and such where the was a police presence and they were using video camera's I thought it was odd to see them as well, joist pointing at the crowd and individuals...

I just found it interesting,

so for the bad grammer, been up all night couldn't sleep....

why do anarchists and hippies expect any different from cops? cause i'll tell you what, you give an anarchist or hippie an inch, he'll take a mile from you every time.

...and another thing. thats what we need. more fear mongering nazi images.

I think the narrator had a good point but she ballsed it up by taking the "Michael Moore sensationalist approach" (ie having a good point of view but no idea how to make it stick as an argument so throw in a few clips of Hitler and hope that does the trick!)

And yes, her voice irritated the fuck out of me too!

The police were out of order and for a country that has freedom as the cornerstone of it's political culture this is indeed scary (even more scarier is the fact that so many people will support this kind of action just cos the regime says it's justified...)
