thats a cool article.

is there any concrete evidence that ecstasy does damage to your heart, brain or other parts of your body?

yes and no. there was that article posted recently about that guy that consumed like 25000 pills or something, had major brain damage. The thing was, he consumed a lot more drugs then ecstacy.

theres a video explaining ecstacy(MDMA) and its long-term affects, a recent german study said that the only long term affects of mdma abuse is 5% decrease of serotonin in the brain, which you can get back by taking a long break.

i dont remember who the video is by.... its on the tip of my tongue, he died recently and worked for ABC?

Not to mention it also depends on your own personal bodies abilities to be resiliant.. meaning if you already have weakened organs drugs or a not too great immune system hard drugs like E would definately take a toll...

Thats a cool article though... i think its really great that the woman was able to over come her fears of death and get past the pain cause by her cancer...

That part about her talking walks and singing with her family made me a little misty..
that really beautiful she was able to have such a wonderful expirience while going through something so hard

Nikki

studies in smaller animals (rats, and monkeys) have shown damage to both heart beat regularity and brain function. those studies have yet to be duplicated in humans for obvious reasons. many of the other chemicals used in Ecstasy can lead to heart complications in humans especially when prior problems may have already been on the surface.

one mistake I've caught right off the bat in that article though is that MDMA is not supposed to be classified as a hallucinogen.
