Whichever one has more variety. From what I know, Global Gathering... but I hear the dj sets are short.

I actually enjoyed Nature One over Dance Valley. This is going to sound odd, but it had a grittier, rawer feel. Awesome variety of DJs i.e. Sven Vath, PvD, Sander K, NuNRG, Ferry, Bad Boy Bill, etc. The Dutch are cool, but no one parties to techno like the Germans. They also had more interesting acts like fire dancers.

Haven't been to any UK festivals, but it's on my To Do list lol

global gathering seems to be the best lineup, but 2 days straight and camping out could be rough for this old soul, I did it in 99 for woodstock and it was hard, creamfields seems to be a comperable lineup and liverpool is easy to get to, but the Dutch are known for trance so where better to party than dancevalley??

Creamfields UK is during a bank holiday weekend, so there are lots of parties in London (and probably other places in the UK) on the Friday before and Sunday after as well.
You can get there by train, but my experience of getting back was a bit of an adventure.
It's quite expensive though.

i did both creamfields and GG but not dance valley-- loved both of them equally. i mean, it really depends how much u wanna spend and what djs you wanna see.. i think the whole camping out thing might be fun if you don't mind getting a dirty, watching your wallet at all times and using port-o-potties lol.
