yeah hard trance more or less died a couple of years ago. most of the big german producers which put out loads of stuff such as the stuff from Gary D, Technoclub (the label), Tracid Traxx, Flutlicht etc aren't very productive today.
alot of them went cheesy such as Dave 202, Fridge, Beam vs Cyrus etc which did good hardtrance but they all went for the crappy german cheese sound.
It's a shame...it was (and still is!) the best music

like stated here by a few people it did die a few years ago. artist such as cosmic gate and dumonde and flutlicht stopped making music or turned to a different genra.
alphazone is practically the only one's still doing it.

so true. It lived a prosperous life, but died. It became a breakdown competition & ridiculous & the general interest in it all went down too.
