any help with fl dashboard for synths

is there anyone who can help me with dashboard in fl studio?

i am harassing people on loop talk too, but maybe someone here can help too.

i want to be able to control the modulation of the vst z3ta+ using fl dashboard. i want to load z3ta+, load dashboard. i want the dashboard to have a mod wheel, which when i tweak it, acts exactly as a hardware modwheel does to the z3ta+ matrix. in essence, i want to use dashboard to design a virtual midi controller for z3ta+.

i am close. here's what i can do. i can load up z3ta in the wrapper. pick a preset where the mod wheel does something obvious, like the 303 emulator. i can browse parameters from the plug menu in fruity wrapper, and go to mod wheel. I assign mod wheel to cc1. (this seems odd since i would think z3ta was already set up to take cc1 as the mod wheel -- back that seems to be necessary to make it work so far) then in midi out, i can pick a wheel configure it to cc1. voila the wheel is recordable (with the red icon ) and makes the filter go up and down just like the mod wheel should in the z3ta matrix.

but if i change presets now in the zeta, the mod wheel in midi out doesn't work anymore. also, i can't use dashboard and get this to work yet, but have to use midi out to do this. both midi out and zeta are on same port for this to work as well. i think i have unnecessary steps in that setup i described above, and probably only have one or two essential steps.

what i want to do is have a dashboard that can function as a virtual midi controller for the vst z3ta+. so when i tweak the modwheel in the dashboard, i want it to work on all presets and my own programs just like it does when you have a hardware box midi controller. i would like to make a full dashboard preset to interact with the z3ta+, and would like to share with the community. but i can't seem to get this to work. this is for laptop work, convenience, making recording automation clips more intuitive etc. i should be able to do this with dashboard from what i understand.

please let me know if my question is clear.

it's working now
i have the phat boy controlling the zeta. basically under browse parameters, assign say mod wheel to internal controller phat boy 1. voila!

last tweaked parameter works well too. this is great for things like chorus depth.

mod wheel in dashboard is good for filter cutoff, etc

man fl6 is amazing. it reminds of that box in the movie hellraiser where you push a few buttons and the thing opens up a gateway to another demonic universe!

i have an unbelievable level of control over my vsts now. . . .
