question about macs

hey there I'm thinking about getting a Mac G5 for producing, I am going to run Reason 3.0 , and Ableton Live. Am I going to have to pump it up with extra ram and all that stuff. Or should it be fine off the start?. Thanks

Wait. Don't buy a G5 tower right now... The Intel towers are a commin' and they stop the daylights out of the current generation of systems..
