removing clicking in Sound Forge

hey guys. One of my sets was recorded in a live venue and the ending result is full of clicks. The cartridges on the techs were old stanton 500s worn out to death. The next day i took a moment to listen the set with my headphones and my jaw dropped,I would have never imagined it this bad

I am wondering how I can get rid of the clicks in sound forge. They are represented by visible vertical lines. thanks for any help.

ps.: a firewire 410 maudio card was used during recording

Sonic Foundry made an awesome noise reduction/click removal package before they were bought out by Sony. This page has a good load of information about it:

There are vinyl restoration plugins that can remove the crackling and hissing in recordings. Yeah, pretty sure they were made by Steinberg, worked pretty well too.

You can maually edit out the click by zooming way in, highlighting the section and using the "copy other channel" command if the click is only in one channel. Another option is to make a very short fade out then in, in the spot. If the fade is really short you shouldn't be able to hear it. If all that fails, then lower the volume of the effected area by highlighting it and choosing the "volume" or "mute" process. Again, the trick is to zoom way in and make the selection just big enough to span the entire click length otherwise listeners will hear it.
