pissing me off:
i am surfing the net using IE and i have more than one IE window opened at a time. in one window, i click on a link and the page starts to load. i then click over to the other window to and start surfing from there but as soon as the page in the other window loads, IE puts that window back on top. this is really pissing me off. can i disable this feature? i want the page to load but when i click over to another window, i don't want the first window to be automatically placed on top again. what can i do to disable this?

Use Opera instead (yeah, I know it sounds dumb hehe). Anyway, Opera seems like a great browser since it readers pages really quickly and has nifty shortcuts etc. Check it out at http://www.opera.com (free & small download).

DoomBringer... It's just because MSIE sucks... Even though I use it too (temporarily... at home I got an NT machine).
the partial solution:
install Opera. it's only drawback is poor java and vbscript support, which makes it unable to display some pages (like my favorite chess at pogo.com)
the solution:
install w2000 or windows nt. they are at least more stable. windows me is the same shit as 95/98
the COMPLETE solution:
istall the Linux, for Christ's sake. RedHat or Debian. They hardly ever crash. If you have money, buy Sun with Solaris. It NEVER crashes.

What the hell are u guys talking about???
Netscape Sucks!!!!!!!!!!
It can't even read tables properly, or frames, or images, or java.........
It sucks!!!
The should close down Netscape instead of Napster, it's really pissing some people off.

netscape sucks now because almost all the pages are designed to be displayed in MSIE, and Navigator interpretes border, margin, cellpadding, spacing and all the other tags of placement a little bit differently. That's why you see pages in Netscape not in the way they were planned out. If you would visit the page designed especially for Netscape, it would be displayed in IExplorer in the wrong way too.

Netscape had it's time in the spotlight from 1995-1998 or so... They had a HUGE advantage of microsoft but their browser has generally been the same shit since version 3.x - it just doesn't have that 'clean' feel to it..
Netscape 6.x is a weak attempt at gaining a little more market share... -- too little, too late.
As a sidenote all the tables/CSS on this site look like a piece of shit when viewed in Netscape - some of it is barely readable.. the tables stuff I can understand - but not reading CSS right? how lame.
