Could you be more technically descriptive? What sort of swelling are you speaking of?

exactly what i mean bring the vocal in and swelling it - I was just wondering since I dont always capture the dynamics of the vocals in the right way - i thought there might be a way to do so mechanically?

just an idea?

If you want your vocal to dynamicly fade in (or swell in your case) that might be a good bet.

I would recomend finding some more tutorials on basic operations of Cubase, because operations like that are very very basic. Also try automating a high pass filter on that vocal track. Make the vocal sound thin at first (high pass at say 1000hz) then automate the filter to sweep back down to 20hz.

Just ideas. Do some more research.
