now i know not many people here are going to bother doing this, but i may as well post it.

I can't imagine myself waking up one morning and saying "It seems entirely logical to tear apart $1,200 equipment that's working fine to slightly modify it even though no one will really ever notice."

yeah i think most of us 1000 owners have seen this, however!!!! if anyone here has done this please post your experience with it, me personally I would do it if Ive spoken with others that have done it since im not usually one to do something like this, i have this one spot on my jog wheel that is a little worn and its always bothered me, so this isnt entirely out of the question for me plz post if anyone has tried this!
