Dancing Dude Come hear some trance... "good" trance

Hey TA's!
Well, I've finally landed a gig here in Sydney since I got here from Vancouver 3 months ago. So I'm hoping to get some TA's out and have a listen to some solid TRANCE!!!

I'll be playing at Josh and Friends presents WanteD Thursday's, one week from today on JUNE 1 @ 10pm.
So Thanks Josh for listening to my cd's and loving them!! I'm gonna rock that dancefloor with bomb after bomb
Your gonna wish I'd stay in Sydney

Hope to catch some out!
The Digital Pimp

Mortyman, what kind of stuff can people expect? the stuff in your sig?

Good luck with the gig and welcome to Australia. It wasn't too long ago that I was in Vancouver only ever so briefly transiting to Whistler for a few weeks of skiing

Well, not much support on the TA front now is there?? A lot less than I hoped, or even expected, considering, Yes Chris, I play the kinda trance that's in my sig
Have a listen to some of my mixes in the link in my sig too... you'll get a good idea what to expect.

I'm playing at 10pm, nice and early so I'm not running on 5 hours sleep for work in the morning

I used to live in Whistler actually. I spent the last 5 years snowboarding there and living right on the mountian. Snowboarding was my life!! I was only in Vancouver for about 8 months.. but not everyone knows Whistler, so I just say Vancouver

Yeah.. I love the arrogance if you will call it of our international superstar messiah dj brethren.. put it this way guys.. our local djs barely have a following, i don't honestly understand how you seem to think you're going to come and sweep everyone off their feet with your amazing sets and cd demos.

Your ‘Come hear some good trance’ implies that our own DJ’s can’t play quality trance. Quite likely this is not what you meant at all, but you’re in Australia now and you’re going to have to speak in a way we’ll happily warm to ie don’t talk yourself up too much. We’ll object, it sounds too American. We like the underdog, the battler, the person who is too modest for their own good.

MortyMan i think you will find that AUTA is full of jaded bastards, and while we are a bunch of wankers online, we're all pretty friendly in real life. The lack of support from the Sydney TAs is due to the fact that none of us listen to trance anymore unfortunately, the scene in Sydney has been dead for far too long and you'll find that all the Sydney TAs boycott JAFP events because we think Josh van Aalst is the lowest of scum you will ever meet in the scene (Yes there's a history)

I'll try and be down there for support if i knock off enough study before thursday, if i do it will be the first JAFP event i've been to for over a year

Now i know you Melbourne guys all have a bad taste in your mouth after the last Canadian DJ that graced your scene, but TRUST me this guy is NOTHING like the Messiah, Mortyman is one of the friendliest, most down to earth and genuine people i've met in the trance scene and you'll love him as much as NuERA when he gets down there

Considering Wanted mainly cators for Hard Trance and Hardstyle and the DJs who play their are mostly up and comers i don't think the statement is far from the truth.
