Is this what Flight 77 hitting the Pentagon would really look like from nearby security cameras instead of the nondescript blur footage we have been subject to?

This is obviously a crude collection of doctored frames but if the government had released something similar yesterday would you have believed it? Many would.

Wary therefore we are of the potential for the government to eventually release clear footage of the impact from the 84 other cameras that were dotted around the Pentagon and would have easily documented the event to debunk 9/11 skeptics.

The government claims all 84 cameras either didn't capture the impact or that tape in the cameras was mysteriously empty and yet returned as normal to film the cleanup operations.

Judicial Watch has said it will continue to pursue footage from the other 84 cameras. If the government is telling the truth in saying that the tapes show nothing of interest then what are they trying to hide by not releasing them?

The Pentagon is a lot bigger than that relative to a jumbo jet. It is one of the biggest buildings in the country. That diagram shows the tail rudder nearly as tall as the building itself! Not to mention that at 500mph, a camera taking pictures at 1 second intervals could and would very easily miss the plane in its field of view better than 5 times out of 10. This is not 30 fps film.

so not one of the 84+ cameras show anything? and the ones they released are the best they got?

84 cameras in a very large area. The land around the pentagon, and the building itself is HUGE!

BTW, I am not saying there might not be anymore footage, I'm just saying it's possible that the cameras might not cover all the areas.

Remember, these cameras weren't meant to catch a plane crash into the side of the building. They are basically there to watch over the perimeter of the property, the parking lot, and the roads leading up to the pentagon building. I imagine they put some cameras looking at the building, and looking at the lawn, but those aren't very vital spots, so they probobly don't have the areas covered. Cameras are there, I would imagine, to look for attackers on foot, and trespassers looking to make some crazy political statement.

Maybe even burglars... but that seems silly

The 84 cameras aren't all directed towards a single point. They're diversified all around the perimeter. There's no reason why more than 1 camera should be covering a specific region of space. And as someone said, a plane traveling at 500mph is going at 200 meters per second, therefore a crappy security camera that takes snapsohts of the area only 1-2 times a second is very lucky to even catch a glimpse of the plane. There's no reason why they'd not release the video if it existed. I mean the twin towers were filmed by a bunch of amateurs anyways. One video more or less wouldn't make that much of a difference.

they are not all pentagon cameras... ex. they took the tapes from a hotel 5 minutes after it happened... so more then one camera is pointed around the same location. 84+ tapes that they did not release... why not just release them all, no problem with that right?

You've just proven why it will never matter what they release, because it's either not going to be good enough to silence the conspiracy theorists, or, they will claim it's doctored, just like the one you presented.

In the meantime, let's all wonder what the government is "hiding", despite all the other over-whelming evidence that terrorist acts took place that day, shall we?

So what good will seeing the other supposed "84" cameras do? You're already convinced. I'll bet you could see the footage of 1,000 cameras and still draw your same conclusion.

I appreciate one's questioning of one's own government, but I feel this has gone a little too far.
