i downloaded Doobie Brothers - Long Train Running (Steve Angello Mix) a couple of days ago and the lenght of the track says 6:13, but it really is 9:55... when i play it on my comp it goes all the way to the end but when i put it on my ipod it only goes to 6:13... how do i change that (i already tried through file info in itunes but it does not let me do it)

Roll it through Sony Acid --- Edit the file and render it as a new track with a length set at the time you want it to be (in other words, make sure that the end of the track is the end of the song). It's not a cheap program, but (I don't condone this @ all!) it could be found rather easily on common filesharing programs (damned pirates!).

It's actually a pretty easy program to use... nothing like the demonic difficulty of Fruity Loops or Reason (Hey Eco, remember when you were trying to teach me how to use FL but the old food smell from the kitchen was so overwhelming that it was impossible?).

Sounds like it is encoded with "variable" bitrate and not "constant" bitrate....sometimes when that happends the track can loose parts when played in devices that cant read variable bitrates.

Just reencode it and it should work fine....or email it to me and i will do it for you. PM for my email if u need.

If thats not the problem then i dont know...sorry.
