Jimmy Van M - Bedrock CD Appreciation Thread

This cd will always be a classic in my book....One of the best progressive house/deep trance cds ever

Disc 1 finishes with one of my all time favorite records - Minimalistix - Struggle For Pleasure (Filterheadz Remix) Disc 2 has some bombs in Solid Sessions - Janeiro and "Music Don't Stop". This cd is great late night or heading to the club. This is great evil house music. The excellent mixing and great progression on both cds shows how great an opener JVM was for Sasha and Digweed so many times...

Disc 1

1.01 Moshic & Zidan - Nightstalker
1.02 Floppy Sounds - Late Night (Dissonant Dub)
1.03 ECVM - Circuit Breaker (John Creamer & Stephane K Remix)
1.04 Yum Yum - Heavy Fluid
1.05 Prototype - Control Of Sound
1.06 Innate & Andy Moor - Barotek (Blackwatch Threshold Dub)
1.07 Trancentral Station - Mothership (Steve Porter Remix)
1.08 Tocharian - Lacuna
1.09 Jimmy Van M - Love Like Sleep (Dub)
1.10 Minimalistix - Struggle For Pleasure (Filterheadz Remix)

Disc 2

2.01 John Johnson - London
2.02 Solid Sessions - Janeiro (Original Mix)
2.03 Solid Sessions - Janeiro (Saffron Mix)
2.04 Brancaccio & Aisher - Music Don't Stop
2.05 Quivver - One Last Time (Quivver's Amytiville Dub)
2.06 Van Bellen - Soulfeel (The Senses EP)
2.07 Mansdisco - Mansdisco (Original Mix)
2.08 Junkie XL - Bon Voyage
2.09 Nuclear Ramjet - Deep Blue
2.10 Thermobee & Stratosphere - Diminished Responsibilty

Anyone else dig this cd as well?

That's exactly what makes it so special. I think alot of the cds that have come out lately have failed to set an atmosphere the way this one does...

Yeah - just imagine listening to that CD1 in a dark club - wot an atmosphere there would be for a warm up set! That CD made me get 'Lacuna' and 'Heavy Fluid' on 12"
