Whenever I load a DXI plugin I can't record automation (the buttons are there but nothing gets recorded) and when I go to the channel to try to write some in by hand none of the controllers are in the list, the only things I can automate are what patch is loaded and bypass.

DX Plugs can't be automated further in cubase..
Unless something has changed very recently..

what! that sucks donkey balls. Ive just got the Antares Filter, which came as only a DXI (no VST). Its (almost) completely useless without automation, i might as well just use an eq.
i know other people on here use the antares filter. how do you use it? is there a VST version?
