Tiesto in VANCOUVER..Reports !

OH
MY
GOD

Ive been to Tiestos show in Vegas on NYE, I must say this set was soooooooo much better!! He definitly played a lot more Harder songs then I expected which was awesome.
WOW what an amazing nightttt..Tiesto ROCKKKKKED the place!! amazing set, amaaaazing energy. Although his enterance was a bit weird, he came on stage out of nowhere with no kind of intro's but it didnt matter.
The line up was good, we got there abit too early but the DJ before him was pretty good too, he played some nice tunes. I think Tiesto came around 11:15, 11:20..I knew 90% of his songs but I cant remember much right now since I just got home & Im still a bit buzzed haha. He played some new songs I believe, I hadnt heard them before they were unbelievable. Believe it or not his energy was much more tonight then what I saw in Vegas which was great!
He was nice enough to come and greet some of his fans and sign autorgaphs, haha I shook his hand and I wasnt letting go . I took a lot offfff clips & pics I will make sure I share them with you guys sooooon (promise promise)

Here are some of the tracks he played that I can remember right now (not in order):

Andain - Beautiful Things
Preach - Broken Inside
Scott mac - Damager (mac zimms remix)
Late Night Alumni - Empty Streets (Haji & Emanuel Remix)
ReLocate - Rogue
Tiesto - Lethal Industry (some DOPE ass remix)
Tom Cloud - Told You So
Tiesto - Flight 643
Way Out West - Don't Forget Me (some remix)
Fonzerelli - Moonlight Party
Parker & Hanson - Let me be
JES - People Will Go

There was a vocal song that said "oh i misssssss u most of alll..my darlingggg"..does anyone know what song that is?

Im sure i'll remember more songs by tommarow but these are a few for now. I hope whoever that went had a good timeeeeeee cuz i sure did!!

Question + points

1. is this report from the show on the 7th or the 8th

2. if his entrance was low-key why the disappointment? Its the way most DJs start their sets before they get elevated to God-status

3. The Miss you all the time vocals is from track Coldcut - Autumn Leaves, which has already been given a electronic remix courtesy of WoW - The Fall.

Tiesto has been playing it for 2 weeks, and considering the fast synth stabs being similar to style of one of his favourite producers at the moment, Ekon, it could well be a Tiesto track or by one of his nearest & dearest label-mates.

You can download the museumplein set & video and see/hear it in full quality audio.

wow, i had a good time!!
i was really surpised to hear Beautiful Things!
that was my first time at the commodore and i gotta say i really like it. i think its perfect for a DJ show. PLUSH can go to hell .

got my copy of "another day at the office" signed. i figured i would bring something different that ISOS5 because everyone had that..

that was a solid 3 hour set, well worth my money

This is for BOTH nights, I just wanted everyone to share their stuff here with us
I wasnt disappointed, I've seen better enterance then that..I think his enterance on Sunday was better (saw a clip).
My friend went up there and gave him a piece of paper he had asked him to play Confirmation by Fred Baker..we couldnt believeeeee he played it!!!! It was so cute he kept looking at my friend and shaking his head lol

Hey guys. I went to this one with vlad and julie and bumped into sw1, naz, l-toy, krys and mark during the show. We got in after a typical vlado delay about 10 min before tiesto got on. I had shoved myself to the front to grab my new tiesto shirt from naz, and people got kinda pissed. Im a tall guy. These hot girls asked me if they could go in front and i said ok. Then they got really friendly, and one moved past me, cupped my package, and then rammed her ass into my area. 'What is this... its different... its nice... yeah...' so shes all over me and then she shifts after 10 minutes... her friend goes to get a drink and she moves up front. Then a certain other ta is grinding into her. Im like, wtf is going on. Then she leaves to go find her friend 20 min later.

ANyways, thats my story of the unusual.

I got DJ Tiesto - The Tube (1997 Bonzai Records) signed and im glad cause now it goes on my wall and i dont have to worry about ever playing that horrible horrible record again.

I was very impressed and pleased by the set... he was very professional and for the most part really did a great job constructing his set. I liked the new tribal remix of Lethal Industry the best of what he played. I thought the lighting was weak and the sound quality seemed to fluxtuate. COmmodore was so crowded!

I went to the Monday performace and it was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G !!!

Met a bunch of cool people. Yep, Naz gets the award for DJ Worship Never seen anyone that prepared for Tiesto - jacket, t-shirts, posters, banners, flag, licence plate, etc.... I dunno if anybody else I met posts here so if you do speak up. (I was the guy wearing the red Just Be shirt, which he AUTOGRAPHED!!!)

Tiesto spun an amazing set. A lot of the songs I remember were named already. One that wasn't that I thought people really loved was Robert Patterson - F16. Ohh an also Super8 vs. DJ Tab - Helsinki Scorchin’

This was my first time in Vancouver and all I have to say is that Canadians know how to party. I've been to many Tiesto gigs in North America and Europe but the ones in Canada are always the best (Toronto at the Docks last June and this one are my two favorite ones.) The crowd is always awesome in Canada. The girls are hot and everybody is really friendly and having a good time together. I'm definately coming back. Loved it!

PS: I got some pics and video clips, can someone please tell me how to share them on here?

Talking Amazing Night !

Tiesto rocked it !! Such an explosive set I knew most of the tunes but there was definately some new remix's and tunes I could not ID. It was definatley crowded tho but still good times. Well worth the day trip I got to van at 6pm and left 9am tuesday and had to work till 11:30pm with like 3 hours of sleep !

On Saturday we got Max Graham I guess my ears arent getting to much of a break !

Some tunes that come to mind besides the ones posted that he played was Simon Patterson - F16 Mac and Mac Remix and the tune he ended the night with was Ronski Speed w/ Stoneface and Terminal - Incognition..as I remember I'll post more
