This is for all the Toronto and surrounding area TA's ---- rumour has it that starting sometime this year, Destiny will be having 19+ parties with a supposed dress code. What's your opinion? Personally, I think it's a good idea since I'm 22 and I dress kind of classy. But, at the same time, why should there be an age and clothing restriction on enjoying music? Isn't that what these parties are about?

I'm not from T.O but I say that the age thing could be good but the dress thing licks pouch. Going to dance in dress shoes is the all time worst. There is a time and a place to (Gino) it out but a trance party is not one of them.

I agree with Te Ka I go out in baggy pants and a T-shirt to dance not to impress. I where my Old navy Kahkis and shirts to go to church, not to mention U look kinda outa place dancing with chemlights aka glowsticks in dressy clothes. Not to mention I like to see people when they R comfortable not pretending to be someone or something they are not, and U get that when people dress up to go out, they become someone else and not them selves and that just makes most of them lyers to themselves and to others. Sorry about the preach session but its late and I am now getting tired, funny when I get tired I preach when I get hungry I get violent, and when I get mad I get calm, think I need to figure out my own psychie one day.

yeah, i totally know what you guys mean. i may dress like a "classy raver" most of the time, but i love wearing fat pants and running shoes with a skirt and t-shirt. i don't like the way short skirts and high heels feel. i used to dress like a gina (god have mercy on me) and when i did, i dressed to impress. i felt like i wasy trying too hard to be something that i'm not. i love the style i have now. it's comfortable and it's me! i hate seeing ginas at parties with their skanky outfits on, waving around glowsticks. come to think of it, a dress code would suck royally. i have yet to see someone at a party who dresses like skum. i think everyone's style is pretty cool.

I don't even live in that realm you guys live in hehe..
but it's the same here
Guys dressing up in the hippest jeans and shirts trying to dance with their chemsticks
They really look like losers...
Uhhh and i hate the skanks
Well the way I see it dress the way you like as long you smell good and look good with what your wearing then its all good. I hate the fact that I have to dress for something i dont want to,and going to an event where im listen to transe music and being there till the morning I want to dress normal.

I agree on the fact to be comfortable... But it would look nicer and make a nicer club scene if there was a dress code
not a strict dress code just something that wasn't so 'raverish' we are there for the music and clothes shouldn't matter but ... it would look nicer in my opinion
