I have just recorded a mix using soundforge 7. I was wondering how i can raise the volume of the overall mix?

use the processing tools... more specifically the volume tool in sf7

Yea...go to "process" then "volume..." then you can raise it manually...it is very responsive though so be careful!

if it is just low volume, go to wavehammer and use medium compression preset then change the compression ratio to 1.5, should be a great non-peaking volume gain.

I usually normalize to -0.1dB to avoid clipping
