i just picked up i nice little cd today (Guerilla Artists - Classics Revisited) and got as stiffy over Spooky - Land Of Oz (D.O.P. Remix Part 2). i can't get enough of the melody and need more. anyone recommend compilations or artists with similar sounds?

Check out anything by Charlie May (one half of Spooky). He's also worked with Sasha on almost all of his productions so check out his stuff as well. As for older stuff, Spooky - "Little Bullet" is a good track - you will find it on the Renaissance CD Sasha & Digweed released in '94. "Xpander" by Sasha was based on this very track.

Actually Im not that taken with the lead/melody/pads, what I am taken with is the bassline.
