$0.994 Gasoline...
Yay!!!!
Yesterday I paid $0.994 for gasoline (mind you I have to use 91+ octane).
No complaints, buy a car - be prepared to pay to use it, however...
Even with a $1.00 / L price on fuel - it still is cheaper for me to drive the 80 km (return) to and from work than take the GO Train.
Fuel will have to be nearly $1.25 / L before it makes more sense for me to take public transit.

On a related note: I know the guy the runs GasTips.com - http://www.gastips.com . This is a website where you can report/investigate gas pumps with the cheapest/most expensive prices.
I tend to only use Sunoco 94 - but it's a good site if you're not picky about your fuel brand.

Any high-compression vehicle needs a high-octane fuel to prevent pre-detonation.
My SVT focus runs 10.2:1 (no forced induction). Any 91+ will do, but I find slightly improved milage and less noticible exaust (sulphur) odor with the Sunoco 94 making the additional $0.02 / L (for the 94 compared to 91) worthwile.
