Rise of Minimalistic Prog

I've noticed a lot of DJ's are getting away music with tons of layers and are tending to be more minimal. Just listened to the recent Sasha sets and spot this trend this I have been updating his archive. Any thoughts?

Personally, I think its going to go back to "house"- a much simpler, more classic style of house.

next trend is going to be.... trance.

minimal+prog is likely to be a completely disastrous combination. especially if they combine the most boring elements of both

like, take your usual minimal techno percussion. make it last 10 minutes. add only pads on top and "advanced production techniques". call it a finished track. make a set only of that stuff

Ah yes of course, it just isn't cool if it isn't minimal, tech, prog or electro.
