DMX06 - Do you miss the cue pan?

Well I've been looking into getting the Numark DXM06 and the only thing that's stopping me right now is that it seems to lack a cue pan feature. Other than that I've heard nothing but good things, especially for the price (~$250ish). Anyone miss this feature after they got the mixer? I find I rely on the cue pan on my current mixer (it's crappy) for cueing up the songs all the time. However, I'm still a n00b and looking for some input.

I don't know what cue pan is, but the DXM 06 rocks. I just cue under split cue most of the time.

Where you can select between signals to listen to in your headphones, instead of both playing at the same time?

Oh, my headphones have that on them, not the mixer. I've never really used it though.

At least I think they do.

cue pan is when you're able to listen to cue, master or a mix of both

I used to have this mixer, I think the fader above the treble knob allows you to do it.

Left for cahnnel 1 , right for channel 2 and in the middle for both.

I have this mixer, excellent little mixer it is to, will do me fine till I get a DJM400/800

That little fader you see just above channel 2's treble is indeed "cue pan" as you say. You can flick between ch1,ch2, and both, think of it as a crossfader for your headphones...

Well then, I guess I was misinformed.
And now I have no excuse not to buy it

And what's the difference between split cue and cue pan, anyways?

Cue Pan is a crossfader for your headphones, Split Cue lets you hear one channel on one ear, the main on the other.
