Hey all, I am making a new website for a production group that also has a radio. It is going to have two sections...one for the radio, and one for the events it throws.

What I'm wondering is though, what should I put on the front page of the main website? The page that people see before they choose which section to go into?

Most websites (such as TA) have their first page dedicated to site updates but I don't know if there will be enough updates to do it.

The website is going to be set up with the navigation at the top so there will be plenty of empty space if I decide to just put a graphic or something similar to that...any other suggestions?

Think of it this way. If there was an event coming up and you went to the homepage of the group that was promoting it...what would you want to see when you first got the page open, before you opened any specific sections?
