The AVP and AVP2 marine campaign was not good for my hearth. If you play the marine campaign at night, it will freak you out if you never played the game before.

I heard System Shock 2 was scary as shit...speaking of which i might try it|

nah, system shock 2 wasn't that scary. interesting concept tho. sort of a merge between RPG and FPS. it was pretty good. but definitely not scary.

Doom in it’s day was! If I remember correctly, Realms of the Haunting had some scary bits too.

the suffering... it was gory and scary and full of everything that would make my mom sick... then again so was manhunt, but that wasnt very scary.........

I played Doom in the dark on big loud speakers when I was 8 or 9... it was awesome.
