one of my all time favourite tracks

kick seems a bit hollow to me. wouldnt bring that melody in that quick either. you need more build up to it. although nice synth choice really dreamy the way the track is.

2:30 in and still no vocal.

its like a real chilled out classical version. breakdown i can hear that vocal, nice melody with it also. ooo its getting good here. not too keen on the build up to the breakdown though and lose the male voice saying coast 2 coast sort of ruins the vibe.

after the breakdown im enjoying it just wish you had of build it up better.

sounds good at the parts ive mentioned.

good job on that part. enjoyed listening.

btw ive been looking for that vocal for a long time, any chance you can send it my way?

thanks

Hi! i will sen the vocal to your email but on sunday.
[email protected]

thanx do for the comment.

It was not suppose to be build upp on this way. i still missing som percusion and stuff and the coast 2 coast male have a point to kill the vibe. it sampled from a coast to coast radio show. if ever find it you will find another meaning of the whole track. Wont explain to spoil the secret that lies behind vocal. =) hehehe, to deep to explain =) hehehe

Cheers!

Hey mate,

I like how u changed the atmosphere of the original. However like dj_kane said, the build up takes too long. You hardly have any variation percussionwise during the build up. Just a kick and a hihat and a shaker. And then after 2 + minutes a clap.

Talking about the clap you use, it is terrible mate It just does not fit with the track at all. The kick also needs work, it is booming too much in the mix. Almost as if u have a delay on it. I think u introduce a 2nd kick at around the 0.55 seconds mark. That one causes for the problems.

Back to the good things, I like how u flow into the breakdown. Lovely strings u use there. The vocals are also placed nicely in the mix, well done on that. The main synth notation is also nice.

Just work on the percussion more. The track is still a bit empty. And lose the clap and get a better one for that or put a nice reverb on this one with a decay of around 3, a nice big roomsize, the highdamping off and a reverb of around 25 percent. and then lower the volume of the clap a tad. That should make your clap sound a lot better already

Keep it up mate!

Thanx for the comment. To be hones i have only given 2 hours to fix all this. because i hardly have time these days produce. Thanx for the tip. , but its diffcult handlar the kick when the kick and tha base is overwouming eachother but i will think in that. percusions is far from done.

thanx =)

listening....like how in begins...hats are a bit too loud imo, needs more percussion, kick is a bit wierd but i like it. the intro is way too long, way too much time till something actualy happens. the overall eq sounds like there are too few mids.

like the break a lot, tho the strings are a bit dull.

i wanted more energy after the break; that clap doesen't fit well in the mix.

overall this is a fine pice of trance...but could use some more elements, better progression and better arangement.

thanks for sharing.

I like the intro, awesome atmosphere! But I can agree with that you need to add more to it. The vocals are very nice too, they fits in good and you donīt overuse them. Just few hours more and it will be great!

The coast 2 coast vocals are nice.
You can't hear the bassline.
The gated saw is nice.
There is not much going on in the buildup.
The clap might fit, it might not. Donnu though.
As mentioned the kick is booming.
The strings are indeed a bit weak.
Ahh the vocals. I really like the melody u used as a lead.
I expected something much more powerful after the break but it didn't happen.
Nice arp at the end. The "coast 2 coast" vocal doesn't fit.
Classic...

Nice remix, but it's not halfway done yet.

7.5/10 for the effort
Omer
