M.304 vs Xone32 vs Empath
i don't know man, buth choosing between those three mixers would make me think me more of an Empath (if you want the superb faders + flex fx option...) or the Xone32 (if you want the filters)
There is nothing the Stanton has that one of those two mixers doesn't have (i think)

Get an ECLER NUO3 if you need a good, solid, mid-priced 3-channel mixer.
Other than that, the XONE:32 or the Rane Empath are good choices....really not a fan of Stanton...not many people are

thinking of buying an M.304. looks decent, sounds great, 60 mm faders, kills, peak meters etc. anyone used/uses this mixer? M.304 vs Xone32 vs Empath
I have used this mixer a bunch at Guitar Center and I have to say that for the price, its almost unbeatable. However, I would not compare this mixer to the Empath or the Xzone 32. The M.304 is a direct competitor to the new vestax 180 and maybe even the 004
Review:
- Absolutely awesome faders
- No bleeding / distortions at high levels even with the EQ's turned all the way up.
- Layout and the construction materials is top notch!
- Nicely priced.

I own the M304, and I must say I'm not wholeheartedly impressed with it. The upfaders are my main gripe with it as they seem to have a sharper than normal curve, so in the top 3/10ths of the fader you need to be very gentle during transitions. Compared to my friends Vestax PCV 175 it's not as nice to mix on. The EQs, kill switches and seperate channel LEDs are quite nice though. I've never had any faders leak on me yet, but I wouldn't expect them to after having the mixer for only a few months, so I can't really put it down to whether the SST actually works.
What has been said about the EQ knobs being weird is true, they're made of rubber and are really thin, and take a while to get used to.
