"That" silly haircut is still going on, safe to say though the last couple of times he has been on form. Saw him at HiFi South last month or whenever it was, although the crowd wasnt huge, it didnt stop him from playing a blinder, time before that was at turnmills, oakey is marmite if you ask me, seen him play about 15-20 times i suppose, half amazing, half average. Ok, so not marmite but you know what I mean... I hope? Anyway, dont go there with any preconceptions, just turn up and get on with it. theres only one way to find out if he's any good or not, but like UWM said, dont expect any EM tour stuff. Was listening to a few of those yesterday in the car, christ they bring back some memories. Have a good time, let us know what he was like.

It could go one of two ways. I saw him twice last year. The first time, he was absolutely horrible, and I vowed never to see him again even if you paid me to. The second time, however, he was at a massive so I figured I'd check him out, and he was really on-form and threw down a massive set.

Hopefully you get the good Oakie.

His mixing is shit, sometimes he plays ok tunes. I would not expect much...
