That means its at 4g.... which is good enough to keep it from skipping. I have it on 3, and can do most things without it skipping..
remember, the heavier you have it, the faster your needle and records will wear out.
the max depends on how heavy your cartridge is... becuase a heavier cartridge will balance with the weight farther back, so you have more room to adjust... but i don't see a need to get it any higher than what you have now, unless you're a crazy turntablist scratch dj.
tone-arm height, i'm not too sure whats optimum, and I can't tell enough of a difference to adjust it anyways..
anti-skipping, should be the same as your weight balance, for regular listening. But since I do alot of back-cueing when I dj, i ahve it at 0, so it won't skip when i spin the record backwards.
