Listening as I type...

Very nice opening! Everything fits well together. I love the female vocals! Nice touch! This was the theme when Maximus died in the movie, right?

Love the arp and piano. This was really a nice tune!! You have some talent there. I felt you caught the emotion and feel from that scene of the movie perfectly.

Keep up the good work!

never seen the film,

but I really quite like this track, as the melody is so simple, there doesn't seem to be a need to associate the track with the film - it'll just lead to massive legal problems if this gets picked up.

piano is really nice and overall production is good

keep it up

@Patski: I just went on the page and pushed play? What's the prob?

@unripelemon: I like it, nice work, clean production, everything flows well together...though...I like non-standard things so the swooshes bother me a bit, but that's personal taste hehe...good standard-ish uplifting track you've got there...congrats

I like the remix idea. Has a little 2000-2002 trance feel to it which is a cool retro type sound (i.e. higher cutoffs on synths and pluck bass which I really liked). I liked where you went with developing the energy but i think in some areas you should have trimmed up and consolidated all the tracks to create a very focused energy buildup. percs sounded good - VECs? I think the fx were. also - my main critique is the instant when the song changes to the chrous vocal and synth leads - there is no real change - its too abrupt - i would work on that area.

overall though bigguy its a good piece - a like the creativity.

keep it up

Spence

I like this, as someone said it has a bit of retro 2000 over it

but I'm not shure about the piano, it doesn't feel like it's fitting in very well tbh.

I'd rather hear either just the women voice that actually sings that melody or both...

apart frmo that everything is just fine

Really enjoyed this song...nice use of the vocals in it. I know the song has been remixed to death, but yours is one of the better remixes I've heard.
Just maybe make that piano a bit more exciting, it sounds too simple, maybe a few chords on it?
Maybe take a look at the mixing as well, some sounds are getting drownded out a lot.
Overall though I enjoyed it, good work.
