DJ Tiesto TWELVE HOUR mix?
I read in an interview with DJ Tiesto that his longest set was 12 hours long. It was the same interview that had his worst mixing experience when someone got stabbed in the audience. This was at Innercity on 1998(?)/12/30. What I'd like to know is is it possible to get his 12 hour mix in Amsterdam? It's not that Innercity stabbing one, though! If it's possible to get this mix, where can I find it and what's the name and date of it? It's NOT on www.dance-paradise.org so, I don't have ANY info on it... ALL help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

ahahhahaahahahhahhaahaaa.....funny
but i dont think Tiesto ever did a 12 hour set...cus if he did i doubt everyone would of been so amazed that he did that 9 hour set at DD a couple weeks ago.....
and it COULD get boring after 12 hours depending on the VIBE and who u are with and how the crowd is and all that good stuff...that depends

The interview is at http://www.askmen.com/toys/intervie..._interview.html
It was in Amsterdam two years before the interview was written. I guess that it had to be 1999 because the interview was written in early 2001 (I know this because one of the questions Tiesto was asked was "What are your goals for 2001?". Energy 2000 (1999/12/31) was also mentioned as well as that stabbing in Innercity 2000 (2000/12/30, NOT 1998 as I thought). So, that led me to believe that this interview was written in early (1st to 2nd quarter) 2001... Check it out for yourself: http://www.askmen.com/toys/intervie..._interview.html
It's 2 pages long...

very true... its not that amazing hearing a 12hr set unless your there
tiesto said himslef that the 9 hour set was a 'unique experience' so i doubt that there ever was a 12 hour set and i doubt that there ever will be. Although he may have done something like it before he became well known (like, at some local festival or something?)

I know that when he was spinning at Trance Energy, someone got shot in the crowd....or was that Corsten...no, it was Tiesto....
Whoever it was, they kept on playing and put up an incredible set...and since then isn't dealing with the promotors who organize TE.
