Mom came down a few weeks ago. Played some standard vocal Trance for her, she actually enjoyed it. Then I decided to let her hear some Dave 202/Yoji, and even then she said: "That isn't that hard...."
LOL, was amazed!

When my mom found out I had tickets to Prodigy, she said. "YOU HAVE TICKETS TO PRODIGY!!?!?!?! I remember them, I liked that firestarter song".

otherwise, no they don't like it.
Even though my mother doesn't admit it, she listens to latin house. [She's into salsa, mambo, bachta stuff]
Father? no way in hell.

My parents don't really care..most of the timethey tell me to turn it down... but that goes for everything that i listen to.. not just EDM... but my sister on the other hand... haha she HATES it... she likes some progressive and house though... but very limited.. but she hates trance
makes for some good old annoying her when i want to though haha

The majority of the time it's "turn that down, its giving me a headache." but once in awhile she gets interested "why is it called house? trance? etc etc" It's a happy medium. I'd be a little worried if my mother started to thoroughly enjoy it.

My dad doesn't care for it, but my mom likes it. The more melodic/epic trance though, not the harder, edgier stuff.
