Trance dancing in other words means meditation through dancing. It is an ancient ritual, when various tribes in Africa and India were gathering around a giant firepit and dancing to the beat of the Adrenaline Drum. This drum was made from a special material that allowed the shaman to emit certain frequencies while drumming. Those frequencies were the ones that put the crowd into trance. The tribe danced for hours and sometimes days non-stop. Today, we may recognise this effect at various big open air trance-festivals, when the crowd stomps without stop to the repetition of the beats in the music; for the repetition is the element that gets the person into the trance. Hence the person is trance-dancing. That's the basic explanation I could give. Hope it is clear
