No one didn't start a review for this event ...so I guess I'll put my two cents about it on this thread...
My first dance boat cruise...
I LOVED IT
The weather was beautiful and perfect...a little bit on the warm side but who freakin' cares! I knew the music was going to set us on fire!!!..hehe...
I saw a lot of beautiful and smiling faces...some sketched out people...but they were having fun too! Though it was kind of funny when one of them came up to my car and screamed at me, "I have drugs!!!" I happened to be on my phone talking to my mom too...I don't think she heard it...haha...
I hung out with the lovely ladies from HA but saw a few familiar faces from TA...
Jay - nice pics dude! Me and Cat were hoping we wouldn't be in those pics b/c we both looked messed!!! But, a nice souvenir for me since I didn't bring my cam
And didn't you think I did a great job taking that pic of you and Cat, huh?
Oh yes, you made me laugh when you walked by and I asked how you were. You said "I'm so fucked up right now..." Well dude...you gotta load up on the water next time, no? Hehe...great seeing you nonetheless...
Kat (2Famous4U) - It was great bumping into you You're definitely a lovely lady. I hope you had a great time, b/c I did! I'm looking forward to seeing your pics as well
Nantez...I didn't see you...oh well...next time
The music...it was definitely the shhhhhhhhh
Vinyl Junkies - I haven't seen these guys live, so I didn't know what to expect...but...they dropped it! I probably had a drink before I started dancin' on the floor...they got me going for sure Good job, guys!!!!
M&S - omfg... talk about sweet house bliss...Manzone dropped JT's new song "sexyback," and I would have not thought that it could have sounded that wicked...I was all smiles for sure.
But IMO, Strong threw the best set I've heard from him No wonder they call him strong...he was definitely strong from start to finish...solid mixing and his build-ups were mind blowing. He dropped some old school house in the middle of set, and everyone was going crazy! He walked by, and I had to tell him that he brought on such a great set. He took the compliment with grace...I heart him!!!
Carlo Lio - He dropped some wicked, dirty, dark tribal house. Unfortunately, I wasn't on the dance floor for most of his set b/c I had some nice conversations with really nice people, and enjoying the view. But nonetheless he knew how to end off a really wicked party! I told him after his set that I was really glad that I came, and if I ever needed tickets...I knew where he lived...muahaha....
I was kind of sad that I didn't hang around for the afterparty, but my body was aching...all in all...a great party...we definitely rocked the effin' boat yesterday
BTW - I really liked those customized shirts...though I won't say which one was my fav
