ok before I say this I have NOTHING to do with the club at all...PROMISE...but a friend of a friend was able to get me at tour of the place last week and HOLLY CRAP is it AMAZING. feels so weird to think of Toronto having a club like this. I am not joking when I say it is on par with Manumission in Ibiza, it BLOWS away crobar NY, and miami, the guv...everything (although I can't wait to see what they come up with over the summer renovations for crobar Miami) anyway the main room is PERFECT (minus the still present escalator, grrrr…) ..the booth set up reminds me ALOT of the set up Tiesto has in the concert video thingy, front and center with it’s own bar and vip area… and for those of you who can afford the BIG $$$ there is a vip booth that is the best thing I have ever seen sort of hovers over the dance floor, where the old dj booth used to be at lucid...there is a movie theatre, a bar that is like a sauna, rooms the size of ultra hidden about, and a 4 story main room… honestly this is BY FAR the best thing I have seen here in North America. The guy taking me on the tour said EVERY major dj is going to be booked, and the place is like kool huas in that it can accommodate concerts too… there will be a bar for people waiting in line, and the shared bathrooms have couches, a bar and a dj in it…the bar is shaped like a huge toilet for gods sake.
