Unhappy Weezer Done for Good?

ok, so dunno how many of u guys are fans of Weezer or are even familiar with them...but I was personally a HUGE fan back in the day, went to see them live several times and consider them to be one of the better emo rockers to come outta the 90s...so its real sad that i had to come across this article today..

hopefully in a few years Rivers and the gang will make a comeback like Green Day and put out another good album similar to their Blue Album/Pinkerton days...but either way, sad news

yeah, both Make Believe and Maladroit were pretty much crap i agree..

blue/green albums and pinkerton were the ones that did it for me

They turned to shit once Matt Sharp left the band, although Green is passable. Last two albums are terrible.

sorry to hear that...

was a HUGE fan "back in the day" as well... absolutely loved the blue album and pinkerton (although many disliked pinkerton).

this isn't the first time the band has gone on a break, so i wouldn't be too disappointed just yet...

The only good albums they put out were the Blue Album and Pinkerton, everything else was utter rubbish.

Beyond that, Rivers Cuomo is a self obsessed douche who thinks he's a lot more talented than he actually is.

Thank God this band is over.

Weezer is the story of a band who should have quit while they were ahead.Only In Dreams, although not getting commercial success as a single was one of my favorite tracks of the 90's.Everything done after the gem of an album that blue was, was just forced and hollow.

as much as the later albums sucked, 'Hash Pipe' is a tight track.
